Almirall jumps after H1 profit beat
** Shares in Almirall ALM.MC rise around 4%, topping the Madrid General Index .SMSI, after the Spanish drugmaker said its H1 net profit rose 28% to 15.4 million euros ($16.76 million) year-on-year
** "H1 profits just ahead," Jefferies says after forecasting a profit of 11.6 million euros; consensus expected 14.7 million euros, according to the brokerage
** Jefferies adds the sales are 1% above its estimates and in line with consensus
** Ebglyss launch feedback will be the focus in the call, Jefferies says, noting it is likely still too early for an update on peak sales expectations
** Almirall also reiterates its 2024 guidance
