Aluminium producer Hydro falls after Q2 earnings miss
** Shares in Norsk Hydro NHY.OL fall 5% after the Norwegian aluminium producer posts Q2 earnings below expectations
** Hydro's adjusted EBITDA came in at 5.84 billion Norwegian crowns ($532.07 million), below the forecast of 6.15 billion crowns seen in a company compiled consensus
** J.P. Morgan calls the results "modestly weak", adding that the divisional outlook for Q3 also weighed
** "Guidance was modestly weak on slightly lower than expected realised aluminium prices for Primary Metal, 2024 Extrusions demand forecast lowered," the brokerage says
** "We expect 2024 consensus EBITDA to move lower by low single-digit % in the near term," adds JPM
** The stock is among the worst performers on the STOXX 600 index .STOXX, trading at its lowest price in more than three months
