Aptiv rises on Q2 profit beat, annual profit forecast raise
** Auto-parts supplier Aptiv's shares APTV.N rise 5.5% to $73.21
** Co beats Q2 profit estimates on strong demand for parts and advanced driving technology from automakers
** Posts Q2 adj. profit of $1.58 per share. compared with analysts' avg. est. of $1.42 per - LSEG data
** APTV also lifts FY adj. net income forecast to range of $6.15 - $6.45 per share from prior view of $5.80 - $6.30
** CFRA analyst Garrett Nelson says "the most positive release" seen from any auto supplier so far
** APTV authorizes new $5 bln share repurchase program; will proceed with immediate $3 bln buyback
** Co, however, lowers 2024 revenue forecast to $20.10 bln - $20.40 bln from prior view of $20.85 bln - $21.45 bln
** Q2 revenue down ~3% at $5.05 bln, compared with LSEG est. of $5.31 bln
