Australia's Woodside gains; Morningstar sees Beaumont project as robust part of energy transition
** Shares of Australia's Woodside WDS.AX rise as much as 0.8% to A$25.32
** Woodside earlier in the week said it will take over OCI Global's Beaumont low-carbon ammonia project in Texas for $2.35 billion
** Analysts at Morningstar remain positive on the deal and expect Beaumont to be an important part of the oil and gas producer's energy transition
** Brokerage says Beaumont will form a material piece of the company's planned $5 bln of investments by 2030 to meet its scope 3 emissions targets
** Morningstar continues to view Woodside shares as materially undervalued
** Stock has fallen 19.1% this year, as of last close
