Barclays says Valmet 'not out of the woods'; starts with 'underweight'
** Barclays initiates coverage of Valmet VALMT.HE with "underweight", warning that the Finnish engineering company's 2025 earnings could be 45% lower than currently expected
** Valmet stock down 3.8% at 1015 GMT, the worst performer on the pan-European STOXX 600 .STOXX index
** End-markets may have reached their lowest point, but "the speed of recovery is uncertain", Barclays says
** It cites oversupply as a risk for recovery, as the market has not fully recognized the negative impact of Valmet's high inventory levels
** Also, debt is high relative to equity in the company's balance sheets, leading to "potential stress points", the broker says
** Valmet provides services and technologies for the pulp, paper and energy industries
** Barclays lowers PT by 31% to EUR 19 vs Tuesday's closing price of EUR 27.25
