- Karim Bitar, the chief executive of Convatec CTEC.L has warned that the medical equipment maker's investment in the UK would be at risk if regulators do not approve a new wound care product stemming from its 45 million euro ($49.09 million) acquisition of the anti-infective nitric oxide technology platform of 30 Technology in April last year.
- Royal Mail is expanding its parcel locker network through a partnership with the provider Yeep! and also plans to launch its own proprietary network next year.

- Imported food coming into the UK through Brexit border posts is being sent back to Europe to be tested due to a lack of laboratory capacity in Britain, food bodies have said.
