Aug 2 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Friday:
** Spanish utility Iberdrola reached an agreement to buy 88% of British power network Electricity North West (ENWL) in a deal valuing the company at roughly 5 billion euros ($5.44 billion), it said. nL8N3JP1PE
** Genetic testing firm 23andMe ME.O will not go ahead with CEO Anne Wojcicki's take-private offer and has asked her to withdraw any plan to oppose any alternative deal, the company said. nL4N3JP1AJ
** Romanian telecoms firm Digi DIGI.BX said it had agreed to buy Portugal's fourth-largest operator Nowo Communications from Spain's MASMOVIL for 150 million euros ($162 million) as it prepares to launch services in the country. nL8N3JP0VJ
** Carlsberg CARLb.CO has agreed to take full control of its business in India and Nepal, the Danish brewer said.nL8N3JP0T0
** Switzerland's Sika AG SIKA.S said it had acquired chemicals construction company Vinaldom in the Dominican Republic, boosting the firm's presence in the Caribbean.nL8N3JP0DO
** New Zealand's Warehouse Group WHS.NZ said that it has called off talks with private equity firm Adamantem Capital for an up to NZ$587.1 million ($349.1 million) takeover after its key shareholder declined to back the offer. nL4N3JP0EE
** Global energy trader Vitol has agreed to acquire Hong Kong-based Noble Resources Trading Ltd, the company said in a statement, in a deal intended to expand its coal trading business. nL1N3JO16J
** Ayala Corp AC.PS, one of the Philippines' largest conglomerates, said it had acquired an additional 8% stake in Globe Fintech Innovations, popularly known as Mynt, for 22.9 billion pesos ($393.07 million). nL4N3JO32H
** Insurer Ryan Specialty RYAN.N said it has agreed to buy specialized builder's risk insurance firm US Assure Insurance Services of Florida. nL4N3JO2WN
** Occidental Petroleum OXY.N said that Colombia's Ecopetrol ECO.CN will not buy a stake in shale oil producer CrownRock after the U.S. company said last month they were in talks for a potential stake sale. nL4N3JO180
** BNP Paribas BNPP.PA is in exclusive talks with French insurer AXA AXAF.PA to buy 100% of its AXA Investment Managers arm at an agreed price of 5.1 billion euros ($5.50 billion), the euro zone's biggest bank said. nL8N3JO2YA
** British Airways owner IAG terminated its proposed takeover of Spain's Air Europa, citing regulatory environment concerns, less than two months after it offered remedies to antitrust regulators to secure approval for the deal. nL4N3JO24V
** The European Commission said that it had cleared the $34 billion merger deal between Bunge BG.N and the Glencore-backed company Viterra. nP6N3IZ007
