Aug 22 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1950 GMT on Thursday:
** Evolent Health EVH.N is in talks with private equity firms and other companies for a potential sale, in a process that kicked off after the healthcare services provider received inbound interest, people familiar with the matter said. nL1N3K90W9
** Derivatives exchange CME Group CME.O and financial information company S&P Global SPGI.N are weighing a sale of joint venture OSTTRA, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter. nL4N3K91G4
** Taiwanese financial conglomerates Shin Kong 2888.TW and Taishin 2887.TW said they planned to merge, a long-mooted proposal first considered two decades ago. nL4N3K90J7
** Disney DIS.N and Reliance RELI.NS have offered some concessions to secure an India antitrust approval for their $8.5 billion media merger, but are unwilling to sell any cricket broadcast rights, the biggest prize in the deal, two sources familiar with the matter said. nL1N3K90GF
** Advance Auto Parts AAP.N said it would sell its Worldpac unit to private equity firm Carlyle Group CG.O for $1.5 billion in cash as part of its latest attempt at streamlining operations, but cut its annual results forecast. nL4N3K90UA
** Brazilian fuel distributor Vibra VBBR3.SA said on Wednesday it had signed an agreement to exercise its right to buy the remaining stake in power generator and trader Comerc for 3.52 billion reais ($642 million). nL1N3K814L
** Japan's Tohokushinsha 2329.T said its board of directors deemed it inappropriate to accept 3D Investment Partners' privatisation proposal. nL4N3K90KR
** The UK competition regulator said its in-depth probe has provisionally found that Lindab's LIAB.ST acquisition of British ventilation firm HAS-Vent could result in higher costs for ventilation systems in some areas. nL4N3K90JW
** Veteran media executive Edgar Bronfman sweetened his bid to take over Paramount Global PARA.O, offering $6 billion for its controlling shareholder National Amusements and a minority stake in Paramount, according to a person familiar with the matter. nL4N3K81JP
