Sept 5 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Thursday:
** TPG Telecom TPG.AX has received a green light from Australia's competition watchdog for a A$1.59 billion ($1.07 billion) infrastructure and network sharing deal with Optus as TPG seeks to expand its reach.

** Japanese retail giant Seven & i 3382.T will inform Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard ATD.TO that its takeover bid price is "inadequate", a source familiar with the matter said.

** BNY BK.N has agreed to buy Archer, a technology and operations provider, that will help the U.S. bank expand its services to asset and wealth managers, the companies said.

** Canada's First Majestic AG.TO has agreed to buy Gatos Silver GATO.N for $970 million in an all-stock deal, the miners said, against the backdrop of surging prices of the metal.

** Verizon VZ.N said it would buy Frontier Communications FYBR.O in an all-cash deal worth $20 billion, as the U.S. wireless carrier looks to expand its fiber network.

** ASOS ASOS.L has agreed to sell its Topshop and Topman brands to a new joint venture with the holding company of Danish billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen in a deal valuing them at 180 million pounds ($237 million), the British online retailer said.

** Blackstone BX.N will buy Australian data centre group AirTrunk for an implied enterprise value of over A$24 billion ($16.10 billion), it said on Wednesday, in what would be Blackstone's largest investment in the Asia Pacific region.
