Med crude-Socar offers Azeri crude
LONDON, Aug 19 (Reuters) -Azerbaijan's state-controlled Socar offered a cargo of Azeri BTC crude in the afternoon trading window on Monday, while Russian Urals differentials were stable in thin trade.
PLATTS WINDOW
* Socar offered a cargo of BTC Azeri Light crude with Sept. 6-10 dates at dated Brent plus $2.85 CIF Augusta, but no buyers stepped forward.
* No bids or offers were made for Urals or CPC Blend in the Platts window on Monday.
* CPC Blend was last offered in the window on Wednesday, when Austria's OMV had offered an 88,000 metric ton cargo with Sept. 3-7 dates at dated Brent minus $1.80 CIF Augusta.
NEWS
* Azeri President Ilham Aliyev on Monday discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin his concern over what he said was the "catastrophic" shrinking of the Caspian Sea, and said that the two had agreed to analyse the situation.
* Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which exports crude oil from Kazakhstan via a Russian Black Sea terminal, increased oil exports by around 3% year on year in January - July to 1.43 million barrels per day, two industry sources said on Monday.
* Algeria will immediately begin supplying Lebanon with fuel for its power plants, Algerian state radio said in a statement on Sunday, after Lebanon's electricity company said the day before its supplies were exhausted.
* Russian oil companies have boosted oil refining volumes this month as Gazprom plants ramped up output, newspaper Kommersant reported on Monday citing unnamed sources.
