Nexans jumps after reports on Great Sea Interconnector agreement
** Shares in cable manufacturer Nexans NEXS.PA rise around 7%, hitting all-time high, after media reports that an agreement in principle was reached on the Great Sea Interconnector project
** "An agreement in principle between the Greek grid operator and the Cyprus Energy ministry and regulator was reported in the Greek and Cypriot press overnight," Jefferies analysts write in a note
** Nexans did not immediately reply to a request for comment
** The project, awarded to Nexans in July 2023, was valued at 1.43 billion euros at the time, the analysts say
** The stock is set for its best day since July 24, if gains hold; it hit an intraday high of 127.2 euros earlier
