ISTANBUL, Sept 10 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Tuesday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 34.0850 against the U.S. dollar, from a close of 34.0800 on Monday.
The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 0.73% lower at 9,699.56 points on Monday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks reversed early losses to rise marginally on Tuesday following Wall Street's overnight rally, though concerns about a still-struggling Chinese economy kept sentiment in check.
ERDOGAN PROGRAMME
President Tayyip Erdogan will attend the provincial branches meeting. (1100 GMT)
VICE PRESIDENT
Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz will chair "High Council of Fight against Drugs" meeting. (0700 GMT)
FOREIGN MINISTER
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will attend the Arab League summit in Cairo.
DEFENCE MINISTER
Defence Minister Yasar Guler will attend the trilateral meeting of defense ministers of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia in Batumi.
UNEMPLOYMENT DATA
The Turkish Statistical Institute will release unemployment data. (0700 GMT)
INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION
The Turkish Statistical Institute will announce industrial production data. (0700 GMT)
BOND AUCTIONS
The Finance Ministry will hold auctions of 7-month and 9-month government bonds.
GAZA
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to convene an emergency summit to discuss the war in Gaza and what he called Israel's attacks on Jerusalem.
