UK's Essentra hits over 15-year low on profit warning
** Essentra ESNT.L shares slump ~23% to hit over 15-year low at 129.60p; Stock top pct loser on FTSE 250 .FTMC index
** The British plastic and metal components supplier warns of annual operating profit missing market expectations, hurt by weaker conditions in Europe and slower-than-expected rate of recovery in the Americas
** Co expects 2024 adjusted operating profit to be in the range of 40 mln pounds to 42 mln pounds ($52.9 mln to $55.5 mln) vs company-compiled market expectations of between 48.4 mln pounds and 49.7 mln pounds
** Peel Hunt analysts say that co's challenges are related to market volume rather than pricing
** Including session's losses, stock has fallen ~25% YTD
