Zimmer Biomet falls as it expects software platform issues to hit revenue
** Shares of medical device maker Zimmer Biomet ZBH.N fall ~8% to $105.45
** ZBH says it had to replace its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system due to "usual glitches"
** ERP systems are integrated software platforms used by organizations to manage day-to-day business activities, including accounting and supply chain operations
** "That (ERP issues) is certainly going to create some challenges when it comes to revenue in the second half of 2024," a company executive said at an investor conference on Thursday
** ZBH expects impact on revenue to be ~1% for the year
** "This is an unwelcome negative update and step-back from guidance," according to Truist Securities analysts
** Including session moves, stock down ~13% YTD
