ECONOMY
State fiscal revenues increased in the first seven months of 2024 by 19.2 billion euros (+6.2%) compared to the same period last year, the economy ministry said on Thursday. The government next week will present its new budget framework with updated deficit, debt and GDP estimates.
ISTAT releases July retail sales data (0800 GMT).
Bank of Italy releases August data on Target 2 liabilities and European Central Bank funding to Italian banks.

Treasury announces sale of 12-month BOT bills, with relative amounts to be auctioned on Sept. 11.

Europe's biggest gas distributor is planning a capital hike of about 1 billion euros ($1.11 billion) to finance the acquisition of its main domestic rival 2i Rete Gas, newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Friday.
ENI ENI.MI
Kazakhstan's energy ministry has requested shareholders in the giant Kashagan oilfield, including the Italian major, to delay to next year maintenance planned to begin at the site in October, trading sources with knowledge of the matter said.
The company signed on Thursday three memorandums of understanding with Azerbaijan's Socar on energy security, reduction on CO2 emissions and biofuel production chain, the Prime Minister's office said.
