Reckitt rises after media report on early talks to sell homecare assets
** Reckitt Benckiser RKT.L shares up 2% at 4,705p; stock top gainer on London's FTSE 100 index .FTSE and on the pan-European STOXX 600 .STOXX
** RKT at its highest level since March 15
** Co has launched early discussions with potential suitors for a sale of its homecare assets, which could be worth over 6 billion pounds ($7.91 billion), Bloomberg News reports on Tuesday
** Reckitt is working with Morgan Stanley on options for its homecare brands such as Air Wick air fresheners and Cillit Bang cleaners, report adds
** RKT is also working while Goldman Sachs Group is helping on evaluating options for its formula brand Mead Johnson, the report adds citing people familiar with the matter
** In July, RKT said it will consider options for its troubled nutrition business and offload a portfolio of homecare brands by the end of 2025, planning to refocus on healthcare and hygiene
** As of last close, stock down 15.5% YTD
