Russian rouble little changed against all major currencies
MOSCOW, Sept 18 (Reuters) -The Russian rouble was little changed against all major currencies including the U.S. dollar, euro and China's yuan on Wednesday in thin trade.
By 0730 GMT, the rouble was down 0.1% at 91.60 against the dollar RUB=, LSEG data showed.
The rouble weakened by 0.1% to 12.91 against the yuan but stayed clear of the 13 roubles per yuan, a level last seen in April. The rouble weakened by over 1% against the yuan on Sept. 16 but then recovered partly on Sept. 17.
Trading in major currencies in Russia has shifted to the over-the-counter (OTC) market, obscuring price data, since Western sanctions on the Moscow Exchange and its clearing agent, the National Clearing Centre, were introduced on June 12.
One-day rouble-dollar futures, which trade on the Moscow Exchange and are a guide for OTC market rates, were flat at 91.36. The central bank's official exchange rate, which it calculates using OTC data, was set at 91.43 to the dollar.
The rouble was down 0.1% at 101.83 against the euro EURRUB=, LSEG data showed.
Brent crude oil LCOc1, a global benchmark for Russia's main export, was down 0.6% at $73.29, after two sessions of gains, as weak macroeconomic data weighed on demand.
